I currently live in the Seattle, WA area, although with all my travel lately, I feel like I am hardly home! I placed second at the the 2009 Ms. Fitness Olympia in Las Vegas, NV and have just returned from Columbus, OH, where I won the routine round and placed third overall at the 2010 Arnold Classic. I have been guest posting a great deal in numerous places and I feel blessed to be able to travel the world, doing what I love! I am currently working on my Save Fitness Campaign, and getting a lot of positive feedback!

About Me

I was born in Bamberg, Germany and grew up as an Army brat living my adolescence in Germany and Korea. We returned to the states and my father retired in South Carolina where I attended Irmo High School. I ran track & field and was the Captain of my dance team. I am proud to say that my strict upbringing laid the foundation for who I am today. I went to college at the U.S. Air Force Academy. I went through basic training, developed leadership skills and began to put my body through its first physical challenges. I was a varsity cheerleader and a member of the cadet Honor Guard and went through several intense military programs like survival training and marine corps officer training.

Upon graduation, I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Humanities and commission as an Air Force officer, working as an admissions officer at the Air Force Academy. My next assignment was to Fairchild AFB in Spokane WA where I served as an aircraft maintenance officer, responsible for the management and maintenance of the KC-135 Aerial Refuelers. After leaving the Air Force, I saw Fitness as an entertaining and challenging way to promote a healthy lifestyle as well as help change society's concept of a "real woman". I began competing in fitness in 1998 and then took a year off when she got deployed during Operation Allied Force. Since then, I have competed in the Fitness America Pageant, Women’s Tri-Fitness, NPC, and now the IFBB.
